My weekend seminar!

Well, I got to attend and shoot in that hands-on seminar this weekend! It was so great to met the talented husband & wife team from Belle's Photography in Dallas. They make for a fabulous team and it was a treat to listen to them in person and get some great tips and insight. Oh, and of course we all got to take some shots of a stunning model! Her name is Luba and she was such a graceful pro! Thanks to you all for making this workshop a wonderful experience! I'm attending a seminar this weekend!

Yep yep, and I'm sooo excited! It might be true that yuou can't teach an old dog new tricks, but a photographer can never stop learning! Hopefully I'll be posting some killer shots from this hands-on seminar! Wish me luck!

photographer Dennise. She was kind enough to assist me AND let me take her new lens for a test drive ... thanks so much! It was a treat to work with her again and we had lots of laughs together durring this shoot! I'm sure the bride thought we were the goofiest pair! :)

Portraits in the Valley

Whoo hoo!!! Due to the crummy weather that we have had here in San Antonio lately, I took a chance and chose to take a drive to the Valley to do the Bridal Portrait session of my McAllen bride ... and let me tell you, that little gamble WORKED!

We could not have asked God for better session weather! It was partly cloudy, a nice comfortable 65*, dry grounds ... PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT!!!

And before you ask, no, I will not post any photos ... we wouldn't want the Hubby-to-be to accidentally stumble upon any images of his beautiful blushing Bride :)

Whoo hoo! My little girl lost her 5th tooth .. and it's a big one in front! ... and poor baby is gona loose the neighboring tooth as well!

Welcome 2008!

Well, it's finally here... the new year! I got a chance to take some much needed R&R while still managing to work a little bit at the same time. My dear friend and long time faithful client drove up from the valley and was able to squeeze in a simple family session at the park. And let me tell ya, her little boy is looking beter than ever!
